Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Walnut Creek Resort. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your booking and stay at Walnut Creek Pvt. Ltd. (Resort & Hotel) located in Lipa Valley, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. By booking a room or using our facilities, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Reservations & Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit (typically 50% or full payment) via our official payment channels.
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards, online bank transfers (IBFT), and cash (PKR) at the front desk.
  • Taxes: All rates are subject to applicable Government taxes and service charges as per AJK laws.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made 72 hours prior to the check-in date will receive a full refund (minus bank processing fees).
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 72 hours of check-in will incur a charge equivalent to one night's stay.
  • No-Show: Guests who fail to arrive without notice will be charged the full amount.
  • Force Majeure: In cases of road closures due to landslides or heavy snow in Lipa Valley, we offer a free date change.

4. Check-in & Policies

Check-in: 03:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM

  • Identification: Under Pakistani law, all guests must present a valid CNIC (for Pakistani nationals) or Passport (for foreigners) upon arrival.
  • Family Policy: In compliance with local regulations, Pakistani couples checking in together must present a valid CNIC showing the husband's name or a Marriage Certificate (Nikahnama). We reserve the right to refuse entry without refund if valid proof is not provided.

5. Guest Conduct

  • Prohibited Items: Alcohol, illegal drugs, and firearms/weapons are strictly prohibited on resort premises.
  • Behavior: Harassment of staff or guests, excessive noise after 10:00 PM, or unruly behavior will result in immediate eviction.
  • Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to resort property. Costs will be charged to the guest.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the statutes of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Muzaffarabad/AJK.
